Every number in your report comes from public data you can verify yourself.

No black boxes. No estimates dressed as precision. Suryaion reads your electricity bills, maps your location to satellite solar data, and applies government-published tariff and subsidy rules. You can check every figure independently before you act on a single one.

Six things Suryaion calculates.
Six things that protect you.

Each step below is not just a technical process. It is a specific protection against a specific way the solar industry currently lets customers down.

Step 01
Bill reading and data extraction
Foundation
What this protects you from: Assessments based on a single monthly figure you quote verbally, which are frequently wrong and almost always averaged incorrectly.
Our system reads your electricity bills directly: BESCOM, MSEDCL, TPDDL, KSEB, TANGEDCO, and 40 other Indian DISCOMs are fully supported. We extract your sanctioned load, exact monthly consumption per billing cycle, time-of-day tariff slots where applicable, and your actual per-unit cost at each consumption slab. Four months of bills gives us a consumption profile, not a guess.
Step 02
Seasonal consumption pattern analysis
Sizing accuracy
What this protects you from: Being sold an oversized system designed around your peak-summer month, which costs Rs 30,000 to Rs 80,000 more than you actually need to spend.
We identify your seasonal demand curve: summer peaks driven by air conditioning, monsoon drops, winter baselines. Our model distinguishes outlier months from representative months and sizes your system against your true annual consumption, not your worst month. This is the single most common financial error in solar sales across India, and Suryaion is designed specifically to prevent it.
Step 03
Solar irradiance mapping for your exact location
Location precision
What this protects you from: State-average irradiance figures that ignore the difference between a Rajasthan rooftop at 6.2 peak sun hours and a Kerala rooftop at 4.8 — a difference that changes your system size and payback period significantly.
Using your billing address, we pull satellite-derived solar irradiance data for your precise coordinates from MNRE's national solar resource database. We factor in your city's average peak sun hours per day, seasonal variance across months, and urban density shading risk. This is the foundational calculation that determines how many kilowatts of panels translate into how many kilowatt-hours of electricity.
Step 04
Optimal system sizing in kW
The recommendation
What this protects you from: A system size recommendation you cannot verify, from someone who earns more if the recommendation is larger.
We output a system size in kilowatts, rounded to the nearest 0.1kW, with a full step-by-step explanation of the calculation. We also show you the financial impact of going 1kW larger or smaller than our recommendation — giving you genuine control and the data to push back on any installer quote that differs significantly from our output. Our recommendation has no commercial bias. We earn the same referral fee regardless of system size.
Step 05
Complete 25-year financial model
The financial case
What this protects you from: A simple payback calculation that ignores annual tariff increases, net metering export income, and your exact PM Surya Ghar subsidy entitlement.
Your financial model includes: installation cost range drawn from our installer network for your system size and geography. Your exact PM Surya Ghar subsidy calculated from current MNRE rules, not a generic figure. Annual savings based on your actual DISCOM tariff. Net metering export rate for surplus generation. Annual tariff escalation factored into 25-year projections. Year-by-year payback tracking. Every line item is cited to its source.
Step 06
Carbon credit income calculation
✦ Suryaion exclusive
What this protects you from: Making a solar investment decision without knowing about an income stream worth Rs 8,000 to Rs 24,000 per year that your installation generates from the first day of operation.
We calculate your annual CO2 offset in tonnes using BEE's state-level grid emission intensity factors for your location. We apply current voluntary carbon market rates and BEE Carbon Credit Trading Scheme benchmarks to produce an income estimate. We then explain precisely how Suryaion's aggregation model converts that estimate into actual cash, by pooling your generation with other registered systems to reach the volume thresholds that unlock carbon registry access.

From your rooftop to real income.
Here is exactly how it works.

Suryaion is the infrastructure that makes carbon credit income accessible to individual Indian homeowners for the first time. Every step below happens without any additional effort from you after registration.

01
Assessment

You see the income opportunity before spending anything

Your Suryaion report shows your estimated annual carbon credit income alongside your electricity savings. You know what your system is worth in total before you commit to any installer or any purchase.

Complete financial picture before any commitment
02
Installation and Registration

Install with any verified installer, then register your system

Once your solar system is installed, you register it on the Suryaion platform regardless of which installer you used. Registration is free. You connect your inverter's monitoring system or report generation data manually. Your system joins the aggregation pool from this point forward.

No lock-in to any specific installer
03
Monitoring

Suryaion tracks your actual generation, automatically

We connect to your inverter's monitoring API to pull verified generation data. Where API access is unavailable, we provide a simple monthly reporting tool. Your data is recorded against your registered system, timestamped, and stored for verification purposes.

Nothing required from you beyond initial setup
04
Aggregation

Your generation is pooled with other registered systems

Individual rooftop systems generate 8 to 10 tonnes of CO2 equivalent per year. Most carbon registries require a minimum pool of several hundred to several thousand tonnes before accepting a project. Suryaion aggregates registered systems until the pool meets registry threshold, then initiates the certification process on behalf of all contributors.

The scale problem that locked you out is solved
05
Verification and Issuance

An accredited third party verifies the generation data

An independent auditor, accredited under Gold Standard, Verra, or BEE's Carbon Credit Trading Scheme, reviews the aggregated generation data against the monitoring records. On successful verification, carbon credits are formally issued to the pool by the registry. Credits are not self-certified at any stage.

Fully independent verification, internationally recognised
06
Sale and Distribution

Credits are sold and your share reaches your account

Issued credits are sold to corporate buyers seeking verified offsets for their net-zero commitments. Net proceeds, after Suryaion's facilitation fee, are distributed to all registered generators in the pool proportional to their verified generation volume. The cycle repeats annually.
