Installer FAQ

The report gives them their optimal system size in kW calculated from their actual electricity bills, their exact PM Surya Ghar subsidy entitlement, an indicative installation cost range from our installer network, their expected payback period, a 25-year financial projection, and an annual carbon credit income estimate. By the time they contact an installer, they are making a confirmation decision, not an exploratory one.
Customers are free to use any installer they choose. The report belongs to them and they can share it with any installer to compare quotes. The network referral only applies when a customer explicitly requests a connection to a Suryaion-listed installer. This transparency is intentional: customers who contact our installers directly have specifically chosen to work within our vetted network.
The referral fee is a percentage of the confirmed project value and is charged only after the installation is complete and the customer has confirmed the project as delivered. The exact percentage is agreed in your partner agreement. There is no fee at enquiry stage, no fee if the project does not proceed, and no fee if the customer chooses another installer after the introduction.
Customer disputes are reviewed by our partnership team. We mediate between the customer and installer to reach a resolution. Installers with a pattern of disputed installations will have their referral volume reduced and may be suspended from the network pending investigation. Our quality mechanism depends on the rating system working honestly, and we enforce it.
Yes. Any installation can be registered on the Suryaion carbon credit platform regardless of how the installation was originally sourced. As a listed installer, you can also refer existing customers to register their already-installed systems. Carbon credit facilitation is a separate service stream from the marketplace referral business.
